Palestinian president arrives in Cairo

Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas arrived here on Saturday on a three-day visit to Egypt. Egypt's interim President Adly Mansour is expected to meet with the Palestinian leader to be briefed on the latest Palestinian developments and the outcome of the latter's talks with US State Secretary John Kerry. Abbas will also meet with Defense Minister General Abdel-Fattah el-Sisi and Foreign Minister Nabil Fahmy. The meetings will be held as well with Arab League Secretary General Nabil el-Araby and Al-Azhar Grand Ahmed el-Tayyeb. Source: MENA
