A man was found dead while rescue teams cleared the rubbles at a munitions testing range in Russia’s Samara region, where shells exploded early on Wednesday, Samara region governor Nikolai Merkushkin told reporters. The man worked at the testing range. He tried to hide in a shelter when explosions started. As a result of the accident 37 people were injured, of them ten were hospitalized. On June 20 the regional government will issue a 10,000 rouble compensation to those wounded in the explosions and will replace broken windows in the village of Nagorny located close to the testing range.
