Bahrain’s delegation headed by Plenipotentiary Permanent Representative to the UN in Geneva Dr. Yusuf Abdulkarim Bucheeri today attended a an interactive discussion session on the report of the Special Representative on Violence against Children. The session also spotlighted the report of the Report of the United Nations Special Rapporteur on trafficking in persons, especially women and children, child prostitution and exploitation in porn films. Dr. Yusuf Abdulkarim Bucheeri addressed the session on behalf of the Arab Group, condemning all forms of mental, physical, psychological or sexual violence targeting children. He urged international cooperation to counter all forms of violence against children and put an end to impunity, stressing the Arab group’s resolve to contribute to the efforts of the international community.
