
Foreign Affairs Minister Shaikh Khalid bin Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Khalifa met UK's Parliamentary Undersecretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Office (Minister for the Middle East and Africa), Tobias Ellwood.
The minister praised the close historical ties between the two countries that date back more than 200 years and that witness a significant and continuing progress in various fields thanks to the shared keenness to promote them toward wider horizons in all fields.
Ellwood assured that the United Kingdom constantly accords special attention to the development of relations with the Kingdom of Bahrain at all levels, highlighting Bahrain's important role to reinforce security and stability in the region, wishing it further progress and prosperity.
