The bomb attack in the Afghan capital left three people dead, several were injured. According to a source in local police, a suicide attack was carried out in the western part of Kabul near the parliament building just a few hours before the formal transfer of the military control and security responsibility from foreign troops to Afghan army and national police. This ceremony, the place and time of which has not previously been reported for security reasons, will be attended by hundreds of Afghani and foreign politicians and military officials. The police believes that the target of the terrorist was an influential member of the Afghan Parliament, leader of the Hazara Shia party "Hezb-e-Wahdat Islami" Mohakkik Mohammad, who was not injured. So far, none of the anti-government group has claimed responsibility for the attack.
