
Turkey's Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu expressed his reaction to the European Parliament's (EP) latest decision about Gezi Park events to his European counterparts. According to diplomatic sources, Davutoglu held separate phone conversations with Germany's Foreign Minister Guido Westerwelle, Ireland's Foreign Minister Eamon Gilmore and High Representative of the Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy for the EU Catherine Ashton. Besides handling Turkey-EU relations in general terms, Davutoglu conveyed his reaction to the EU leaders about European Parliament 's vote on Thursday to express its concern at the extent of the force used by police, sources said.
