Death toll from Indonesian ferry accident jumps to 63

Search and rescue teams found 40 more bodies after a ferry sank off Indonesia's Sulawesi island on Saturday, bringing the confirmed death toll to 63, dpa cited a local official as saying.
Fifteen people were still missing, said Alamsyah, the head of the disaster management agency in Wajo district of South Sulawesi province.
"Rescuers found most of the bodies in the waters off North Luwu and East Luwu districts in South Sulawesi province," Alamsyah said Friday.
A total of 118 people were on board the fibreglass ferry, which was travelling across the Gulf of Bone to Siwa in South Sulawesi when huge waves damaged the ship, officials said.
Forty survivors were rescued after the accident.
