
A decision has yet to be taken to dissolve Egypt’s Muslim Brotherhood (MB) , although the decision will be made in the coming day, a source from Egypt’s Ministry of Social Solidarity said Friday.The Social Solidarity ministry is in charge of regulating all civil society organizations in Egypt, which the Muslim Brotherhood is officially recognized as such. The source said that MB are in violation of law No. /84/ of 2002 which forbids any civil society organization to be politically active or form armed militias.The source added that before suspending the use of the 2012 constitution, the decision to dissolve a civil society organization was up to the judiciary only.However after the suspension of the constitution that power belongs to the Minister of Social Solidarity Dr. Ahmed Al Boraei.
