El-Sharqawi is leading Egyptian delegation on a visit to US

She said the visit did not aim at defending or justifying some issues, but it does aim to keep contact with all sides in the US and the world at large. The official stressed the importance of the US's influence at the international level. During their talks with the US side, the Egyptian delegates made it clear that the government is encouraging American businessmen to invest in Egypt, she said. El Sharkawi is leading Egypt's delegation to the 57th session of the UN Commission on the Status of Women.
