Chairman of the Tourism Committee of the Bundestag Klaus Brahmig has drawn back his last year statements, in which he urged German tourists not to visit Egypt, said Egyptian Tourism Minister Hisham Zazou. Zazou, who is currently on a visit here to participate in the International Tourism Bourse (ITB), the World's leading travel trade show, told MENA he met with Brahmig who assured to him that Egypt was an important tourism partner. The German lawmaker said a chance should be given for democratic transition to take place, Zazou said, adding that Brahmig will visit Egypt at the end of the month.
