Talks between Iran and the Sextet of international mediators (five permanent members of the UN Security Council and Germany) on its nuclear program will be held after a new government of the Islamic Republic is formed, Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Abbas Aragchi said on Tuesday. “Official negotiations will be conducted with the official government,” he said adding that the talks “will resume after the new government is formed”. “As for the date of a new round of negotiations, there is no official information on that as of yet,” Aragchi said. Earlier, a diplomatic source close to the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) told Tass in Vienna that a next round of the sextet’s talks with Iran on its nuclear program may be held already in one month.
