Iranian and Chinese presidents on Wednesday exchanged congratulation message over the fortieth anniversary of diplomatic relations. President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad and President Hu Jintao in their congratulatory messages pointed to deep historical and cultural affinities of the two nations and states. They emphasized the need to consolidate and deepen the existing relations on mutual interest. 'I am pleased to express my sincere congratulation on the occasion to greet people and the administration of China,' President Ahmadinejad said. “I am quite sure the present mutual relations which have focused on amity and mutual interests will develop and deepen in light of the goodwill of leaders of the two countries more than ever,” President Ahmadinejad said.
