
The Israeli army on Sunday named new commanders for its ground forces, navy, and C4i branch, the Jerusalem Post reported.
Kobi Barak will replace Guy Tzur as the head of the ground forces, while Aharon Haliva will take over Barak's role as commander of the technological and logistics branch, and will be promoted to the rank of major general.
The Israeli navy will be commanded by Eli Sharvit, who will be promoted to major general, and will replace Ram Rothberg.
The C4i branch will be commanded by Nadav Padan, who will be promoted, and will replace Uzi Moskovitz.
Micky Edelstein will become the next Israeli military attache in the US, and will also be promoted.
