
Speaker of the Parliament of the Republic of Kosovo Jakup Krasnigi haied on Thursday the initiative of the State of Kuwait to appoint an ambassador to Kosovo. Speaking to KUNA, Krasnigi said that such a decision will contribute to the development of relations and bonds of friendship between the two countries. Krasnigi described his recent visit to Kuwait as "fruitful and positive" During his meeting with Kuwait's ambassador in Albania and non-resident to the Republic of Kosovo Najib Abdulrahman Al-Bader at the Parliament in the capital, Pristina, Krasnigi welcomed this initiative from a friendly country of Kosovo (kuwait). He expressed hope to continue the pace of rapprochement between the two countries to take these relations to a strategic level aspired by both countries. For his part, Al-Bader said that he discussed with Krasnigi a number of issues related to the promotion of mutual cooperation between the two countries. He praised the level of coordination and cooperation between the parliaments of Kuwait and Kosovo and mutual visits, the last of which was for former Kuwaiti national Assembly Speaker Jasem Al-Kharafi in 2011.
