
Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Sabah Al-Khalid Al-Hamad Al-Sabah held on Monday a luncheon in honor of visiting Honduras Minister of Foreign Relations Mireya Aguero Trejo de Corrales and her accompanying delegation. During the banquet, the two sides discussed bilateral relations and ways to bolster them, as well as the latest regional and international developments and issues of mutual interests. The banquet was attended by Foreign Ministry's Undersecretary Khaled Suleiman Al-Jarallah, Head of the two Americas Department Ambassador Sheikh Ali Al-Abdullah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, Director of the Office of Deputy Premier Ambassador Sheikh Dr. Ahmad Nasser Al-Mohammad Al-Sabah, Protocols Director Ambassador Dhari Al-Ajran and Deputy Director General of Kuwait fund for Arab Economic Development Hisham Al-Waqayan, in addition to senior officials at the foreign ministry. Minister of Finance Wilfredo Cerrato, senior officials at the Honduras Foreign Ministry and Special Advisor to the President of Honduras for international affairs William Chong in addition to a number of the accompanying delegation also attended the banquet. During the banquet, Kuwait and Honduras signed an agreement on entry visa fees exemption for official and diplomatic passport holders, in addition to a memorandum of understanding on the establishment of political consultations between the two countries' foreign ministries. They were signed by the foreign ministers of the two countries.
