Malaysia has expressed extreme concern over Israel's intention to divide the Al-Aqsa Mosque which is also a holy site for Muslims and Christians, according to (Bernama) News Agency. "Israel must also cease all illegal settlement activities and the demolition of the Palestinian structures and heed to international calls to lift the illegal blockade on Gaza," said Malaysian ambassador to China, Iskandar Sarudin. Iskandar pointed out that Israel must realise that its future lies within the principles of the establishment of a Palestinian State under the two-State solution, which must be based on the pre-1967 borders with East Jerusalem as the capital of the Palestinian State. The two-day meeting, themed 'Reviving the collective international engagement towards a two-State solution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict' is being held here from June 18 to 19.
