Patriarch Yazigi: We are advocates of peace and amity

Greek Orthodox Patriarch of Antioch and All the East, Patriarch John X Yazigi, said that "We are advocates of peace and amity." In a press conference in Beirut on Monday, Patriarch Yazigi stressed that the Holy Synod of Antioch at the Patriarchal Monastery of Our Lady of Balamand will discuss efforts to release bishop of the Greek Orthodox Church, Boulos Yazigi, and bishop, John Ibrahim of the Assyrian Orthodox Church, who were kidnapped by gunmen in north Syria.
