prosecutor: Crimea opens criminal case of subversion against power blockade organizers

 A criminal case is opened against organizers of power transmission lines blasting in Ukraine’s Kherson Region that resulted in complete termination of electricity supply to Crimea, Prosecutor of Crimea Natalia Poklonskaya told TASS on Wednesday.
"Investigation authorities of FSB Department for the Republic of Crimea made a decision to open a criminal case due to signs of Part 2 of Article 281 "Subversion" of the Russian Criminal Code as suggested by the prosecutor’s office. This article contemplates punishment in the form of the custodial restraint up to 20 years," the prosecutor said.
Suspects may be put on the international wanted list, Poklonskaya said.
Crimea was left without electricity supplies at night of November 22 after Ukraine stopped delivering electric power because of explosions on its power transmission lines.
