
Russian President Vladimir Putin had a phone conversation with British Prime Minister David Cameron where they discussed means of achieving security in the Middle East region in the context of settling the Syrian crisis.
The Kremlin said that Russia and Britain share identical points of view concerning the threats of Daesh terrorist group and other active extremist organizations in the region.
The phone call took up also ways of enhancing joint cooperation, said a statement issued by the Kremlin on Wednesday.
Meanwhile, Putin has invited British specialists to take part in the decoding of the flight recorder from the Russian Su-24 Fencer bomber jet downed by the Turkish Air Force over Syria while carrying out operations.
