
On the sidelines of his visit to Japan, Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry gave several interviews with the various Japanese media outlets in order to show the real economic and political conditions in Egypt.
Regarding the most important interviews conducted with Shoukry in Japan, Foreign Ministry Spokesman Ahmed Abu Zeid said that Shoukry gave a lengthy interview with Japan's national public broadcasting organization NHK and NIKKEI, the most widespread business daily in Japan along with Mainichi Daily News.
In the interviews, Shoukry pointed out to the bilateral ties binding Egypt and Japan along with the available opportunities between the two sides to promote cooperation at all levels.
He also hailed the mega projects, which implemented by Japan over the past decades.
Shoukry further underlined the important role played by Egypt to confront terrorism and extremist thoughts.
