
Sudan is to take part in the meetings of the 68th Session of the United Nations General Assembly which will start on September17th in New York by a delegation will be led by Foreign Minister, Ali Karti. SUNA learnt that the Foreign Minister will deliver Sudan's address before the UN General Assembly which will cover view of Sudan towards regional and international issues, the positive development in relations between Sudan and State of South Sudan, the commitments of the international community towards Sudan and the post-separation of the South Sudan issues. Sudan address will also include calls for lifting US sanctions on Sudan, support of Doha Agreement for Peace in Darfur, pushing non-signatory factions to join peace process in the region and backing efforts of reconstruction and development in Darfur.
