Terrorist threat growing in case of military aggression against Syria

If an aggression against Syria is unleashed, the terrorist threat to Russia will grow, Syrian Ambassador to Russia Riyadh Haddad said on Tuesday. “Those who seek to create an Islamic Khalifat want to control the whole world. Hundreds of thousands of terrorists carry on war in Syria. What do they do if Syria is destroyed? Had they mercy towards the Russian people?” Haddad said. All evidence proves that armed groups used chemical weapons in East Ghouta, Syrian Ambassador to Russia said . “Russia provides proof of where and when missiles were launched,” Haddad said. “Can right-minded persons believe that the regime [of Syrian President Bashar al-Assad] used chemical weapons when U.N. experts worked?” the Syrian ambassador asked. Earlier, the Syrian ambassador made several statements on US attitude towards situation in Syria. “The United States arrogantly ignores international laws. The U.N. Security Council is the unique structures, which can take a decision on military intervention,” Haddad said, adding that the United States’ actions held up the work of U.N. chemicals experts for ridicule. “Washington acts as a prosecutor, a lawyer and a judge. Any interference will violate the U.N. Charter,” the Syrian ambassador said. “The commission on chemical weapons has not completed its work yet. I believe that the Syrian people must not pay for U.S. President Barack Obama’s hasty position, which is aimed at saving America’s face,” the Syrian ambassador said. Syrian Ambassador to Russia Riyadh Haddad said he is hopeful that the United States and his allies would not use force against the country. “We hope that this won’t happen. America’s aggression keeps pace with Al Qaeda and Jabhat al Nusra,” the Syrian ambassador said. “Those who will say the danger proceeds from our country will make a mistake. Many people realise a hidden danger if the radical ideology wins,” Haddad said.
