Following the terrorist attack perpetrated against the United Nations building in the Nigerian Capital Abuja, an authorised source of the Foreign Affairs Ministry made the following statement: " The Tunisian Government has received with deep sadness the news of the terrorist attack perpetrated against a United Nations building in the Nigerian capital Abuja, which killed and injured dozens of innocent people. While strongly condemning this terrorist act which contradicts with all human principles, Tunisia expresses compassion and sympathy with the families of the victims and solidarity with the Nigerian people and the United Nations Organisation in these painful circumstances. Tunisia is convinced that this criminal act will by no means undermine the efforts of the international community to uproot terrorism and address its dangers and destructive effects on security, stability and development in the world."
