
UK Foreign Secretary Philip Hammond greeted all Muslims across the world at the end of Ramadan and Eid ul-Fitr.
The Foreign Secretary said:"I send my best wishes to all Muslims across the world who are celebrating Eid ul-Fitr."
"As the holy month of Ramadan ends, friends, family and neighbours will come together for a period of reflection and charity towards those less fortunate." the minister noted.
"At this time we must keep in our thoughts for those who are unable to celebrate or be with their loved ones. Across the world people are enduring unimaginable suffering, including in Syria, and the UK continues to work tirelessly for a resolution." he added.
He said: "I wish you all a peaceful Eid Mubarak.
