Vice President of Republic Informed on Security Situation in Western Kordofan State

The Vice President of the Republic, Al Haj Adam Yousif, has got acquinted with the security situation and the reconciliations carried out in Western Kordofan State. He called during his meeting Tuesday in his office at the Republican Palace with Gen. Ahmed Khamees Bakhit, the Wali (governor) of Western Kordofan State, for patching up to the social fabric and support to peace among the components of the state. On his part, the Wali (governor) of Western Kordofan State said in a press statement following the meeting that he briefed the Vice President on the state's plan for formation of a broad-based government which is acceptable by the state's community as wellas the future plan for realizing development in the state. He said that he had acquainted the Vice President with the arrangements for holding a consultation conference between a number of tribes in the state, indicating that the Vice President has given a directive for speeding up the establishment of the judiciary and security facilities to boost security and stability in the state.
