Minya Criminal Court ordered on Monday that 11 members of the terrorist Muslim Brotherhood (MB) group would be jailed for three years, while eight others were acquitted.
The defendants were charged with demonstrating, closing roads and hampering transportation in Maghagha town of the Upper Egyptian governorate of Minya.
The Court also decided to adjourn the judgment for three others for December.
The MB was designated a terrorist organization in December 2013 over committing violent acts following the dispersal of Rabaa and Nahda sit-ins in August of the same year.
Many of its leaders and members were jailed and convicted in violence crimes.
