
Israeli forces arrested Sunday two Palestinians and caused suffocation of others by tear gas when it suppressed a peaceful march that kicked off from Beit Jala.
The march aimed at protesting the ongoing dredging work that took place in Bir Onah so as to resume the building of a separation wall.
The demonstration, which was called for by political powers, was suppressed by the Isreali forces which fired tear gas leaving a number of the protesters suffocated while two others were arrested.
Officials, Christian clerics, citizens and political powers participated in that protest.
The Chairman of the Commission Against the Wall and Settlements Walid Assaf said that organizing these demonstrations proves that the Palestinians reject all kinds of occupation of their territories.
