
As many as 224 Egyptians have returned home from Libya via Salloum crossing over the past 24 hours, said Mersa Matrouh Security chief Mokhtar el Senbary on Saturday.
Of all the returnees, 62 Egyptians had illegally arrived from Libya, he noted.
Also, the departure procedures of 455 passengers, including 43 Egyptians and 412 Libyans, have been finalized.
In the meantime, the security forces managed to foil attempt by 106 people to infiltrate into Libya. They were referred for prosecution for investigations.
