Vandals slashed Wednesday morning tires of 30 cars and sprayed slurs on them in a "Price Tag " attack in the Palestinian village of Sharfat in Jerusalem, Israeli police told Xinhua. The vandals also spray-painted slurs on the walls, reading "No co-existence," and "Arab equal thieves." Police are investigating the incident but no suspects have been apprehended yet. This is the second "Price Tag" attack in the Jerusalem area in less than a month. On Feb. 10, vandals slashed tires of 16 cars and a bus and sprayed-painted hate graffiti in the Palestinian neighborhood of Silwan in East Jerusalem. According to the figures released by the UN in January, the annual rate of Israeli settlers' attacks on Palestinians almost quadrupled in the past eight years. "Price Tag" attacks are acts of vandalism perpetrated against Palestinians and their property, carried out by Jewish right wing extremists, including torching cars, chopping of olive trees and spray-painting "Price Tag" and racist slogans on the walls of Palestinian houses.
