Immigration Minister Nabila Makram said 32 Egyptian sailors returned from Saudi Arabia after solving their problem with their sponsor in Jubail city in eastern Saudi Arabia.
The ministry exerted strenuous efforts over the past weeks to settle the problem, she said in a statement.
Thanks to the Saudi authorities' cooperation, especially Governor of Eastern Province Prince Saud ben Nayef and Saudi Ambassador in Cairo Ahmed ben Abdel Aziz al Qattan, the ministry's efforts reaped their fruits.
Fifteen other Egyptians returned on the same plane after solving their problems with their employers, she said.
The minister stressed the state's keenness on offering all needed help and protection to Egyptians abroad.
