Joining the nation in remembering the sacrifices of the UAE’s fallen heroes, ADNOC Distribution’s management and employees observed Commemoration Day today with a minute of silence at 11:30 a.m.
To mark the occasion, the company honoured its employees who have martyrs among their family members, acknowledging their vital role in contributing to national unity.
Saeed Mubarak Al Rashdi, Acting Chief Executive Officer, ADNOC Distribution, said, "For us, every day is an occasion to pay tribute to our nation's most revered heroes and their memories. It is an opportunity for both the UAE nationals and residents to gratefully remember the loyalty, sacrifice and courage of our brave martyrs in the call of duty. It is also an opportunity for us to express appreciation, pride and gratitude to our loyal men who sacrificed their lives in the service of our homeland."
"Our martyrs are a source of pride and inspiration for the present and future generations as they embody the finest examples of patriotism and loyalty to the nation. This encourages us to honour our employees who have martyrs among their family members. Our intention was to reiterate that challenges only make Emiratis stronger and more unified. And families that have stood by our soldiers are to be applauded by all of us," Al Rashdi added.
