
On Monday, at the request of Kuwait, the Arab League Council will hold an extra-ordinary meeting at the level of Foreign Ministers to discuss the developments in Syria, particularly the humanitarian crisis in Aleppo.
The meeting is being convened following consultations between the State of Kuwait, the General Secretariat of the Arab League and Tunisia, the current Chair of the Arab League Council.
The meeting will discuss the developments in Syria and their serious repercussions in Aleppo, in addition to the catastrophic humanitarian situation in the city.
The Arab League Secretary-General will also present a report on the Arab League's efforts and endeavours with the various parties concerned with the Syrian crisis.
An Arab League emergency meeting at the level of permanent representatives was held Thursday in Cairo to discuss the humanitarian crisis in Aleppo at the request of the State of Qatar.
