
His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa has affirmed that cooperation and coordination among the constitutional branches has increased the national achievements, and created a suitable atmosphere for optimising the national gains in the political, economic and human rights fields.
Once opinions converge and similar stances are adopted, the path becomes well paved away for optimising the national achievements, and ensuring optimal ways of dealing with any developments at the political and economic levels, which will safeguard the kingdom and its citizen-oriented development march against the negative impacts of those development, he said.
"In the government, we are keen on coordinating with all branches regarding every national issue, in line with our belief that the national action march will achieve its goals only through robust strategic partnership among various branches, and by every national effort aimed at attaining the best for Bahrain and its people," the Premier added.
HRH Premier made the statements while receiving at the Gudaibiya Palace today the Speaker of the Council of Representatives, Ahmed bin Ibrahim Al-Mulla, Shura Council Chairman, Ali bin Saleh Al Saleh, Acting President of the Supreme Judicial Council, Chancellor Salim bin Mohammed Al-Kuwari, and a number of MPs and Shura Council members, in the presence of former Speaker, Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Dhahrani.
HRH the Prime Minister highlighted the role played by the Legislative Branch and lawmakers at the legislative and supervisory levels, as well as in consolidating the pillars of the development process in the kingdom. He also praised MPS' keenness on fulfilling the aspirations of the citizens at all levels.
The Prime Minister stressed the government's constant desire to strengthen partnership with the Legislative Branch and take advantage of every national opinion or expertise that contribute to serving society meeting the citizens' aspirations for a more prosperous future.
HRH Premier affirmed that the cabinet's doors are wide open for every executive-legislature cooperation, adding that the government shares with the "representatives of the people" their desire to achieve the best for the citizens, in accordance with the available resources and potentials.
Meanwhile, HRH the Prime Minister lauded the Judicial Branch's contributions, as well as its development programmes aimed at fast-tracking court procedures, and supporting the government's economic and investment policies.
While reviewing with the attendees the latest regional and global developments, HRH the Prime Minister that current security and economic situation and the state of instability witnessed by many regions in the world have affected all countries.
Therefore, regional and international coordination in confronting the current challenges has become a necessity so as to avoid further repercussions on global development and security.
