Court freezes funds of CEWLA chairwoman
Center for Egyptian Women Legal Assistance

Cairo Criminal Court ordered on Wednesday preventing Azza Suliman, the chairwoman of the Center for Egyptian Women Legal Assistance (CEWLA), from disposing of her property and possessions.
Suliman is currently standing trial on charges of illegally receiving funds from foreign bodies.
The court has set January 11 as a date to issue a verdict against three other defendants in a similar case.
