Disaster Management Committee holds workshop

As part of the directives of Chief of Public Security and Head of the National Disaster Management Committee, Major-General Tariq Al Hassan, the panel has held a two day-workshop on limiting risks and crisis in cooperation with the General Directorate of Civil Defence.
The workshop attracted 45 individuals from various ministries and organisations. It highlighted that disasters could not be prevented from happening, but institutions and personnel's aptitudes can be developed to address them.
