Mokhles Kotb, Secretary General of the National Council for Human Rights, called on all Egyptians to support the next legislative elections, the last cornerstone of the roadmap adopted following the June 30 revolution.
Holding the vote should be seen as a national goal, he said.
Parliamentary elections were previously scheduled to take place in March, but were suspended by the Supreme Constitutional Court (SCC) due to the unconstitutionality of parliamentary laws.
The planned polls will mark the third and final step of the roadmap which was outlined on July 3 following the June 30 Revolution
