The Emirates Red Crescent, ERC, has distributed food aid to low-income and service workers at Ibn Sina Hospital in the province of Hadramout, as part of the UAE’s effort to alleviate the suffering of Yemeni citizens.
An ERC delegation visited the hospital yesterday, underscoring their keenness on the distribution of humanitarian aid to help unprivileged Yemeni people overcome their difficulties.
An ERC supervisor said that the distribution of humanitarian aid is part of an intensive programme developed by the body to ease the burden of underprivileged families, referring to their efforts in distributing thousands of food and medical aid packages in Hadramout and Shabwah provinces.
The aid recipients extended their thanks and appreciation to the UAE and its leadership for providing much-needed humanitarian assistance.
