Extremists not allowed to promote ideologies at mosques

An Awqaf Ministry official has said that extremists cannot and won't be allowed to promote their ideologies inside mosques.
The Awqaf Ministry is the only body responsible for issuing preaching permits, said Dr Abdel Nasser Atyan, the undersecretary in Alexandria.
He warned violators that the Ministry is alert to attempts to manipulate minds of trustful people.
The Awqaf Ministry is acting to upgrade the religious discourse, Atyan noted.
