
Leaders and heads of delegations of Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) member states concluded the 37th session of the GCC Supreme Council, which took place in Bahrain today, and chaired by King of Bahrain Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa.
In the closing speech, the King of Bahrain, stressed the fraternal spirit between the GCC leaders that distinguished the meeting, ensuring their keenness to take the progress of the council to the leading position it deserves, expressing the intention to enhance the cooperation between the GCC states internationally during the coming year to maintain the gains and make achievements in order to meet the aspirations of the GCC peoples.
The King of Bahrain extended his appreciation to the GCC leaders for their efforts and cooperation in reaching the positive results and decisions that will achieve the goals of the great GCC entity.
For his part, the Emir of Kuwait Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah said that the resolutions of the 37th GCC Summit, held in Manama, will help to consolidate the bloc's joint action and in realizing the people's expectations for further security and stability.
Speaking at the closing session of the GCC summit, the Emir of Kuwait invited fellow GCC leaders to hold the next session of the GCC Supreme Council in Kuwait, hoping for further security stability, and prosperity for the people of the region.
