
Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Dr Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani said the 4th Qatar's information and communication technology exhibition (QITCOM 2017), currently underway in Doha, aims at ensuring Qatari citizen comfort and well-being in all walks of life including 'health and sports, and transport and logistics services'.
In a statement to Qatar News Agency (QNA) on sidelines of the opening of the conference, Al Zayani said QITCOM 2017 exhibition and conference shows the importance attached by the wise leadership to Qatari citizen comfort, well-being and development as well as to improving all services provided to them.
The GCC Secretary General said that the GCC countries kept pace with technology development in digital transactions in various fields, pointing out that the GCC participation in QITCOM in Doha stems from the attention given by the GCC General Secretariat, under the directives of the GCC leaders, to e-government services .
