Trade and Industry Minister Tarek Qabil received five detailed reports on the performance of organizations affiliated to the Ministry during January.
The reports came as part of a monthly follow-up of the implementation phases of a plan adopted by the ministry with the aim of improving the quality of the Egyptian products.
The organizations include the Egyptian Organization for Standards and Quality, the National Institute for Quality, National Accreditation Board and the Industrial chemistry control.
Improving the system of the Egyptian quality comes on the top of the ministry's priorities, said Qabil in a statement Tuesday.
He, meanwhile, said that abiding by the methods of quality became crucial in light of the challenges which are imposed by the free market rules.
