
Minister of Interior Magdy Abdel Ghaffar has held a meeting with his aides within the framework of the ministry's plan and measures to secure people and vital institutions, and take all necessary measures during Christmas celebrations.
Speaking at the meeting, Abdel Ghaffar said the ministry would not hesitate to act decisively against any attempts to destabilize the security and stability of the country or undermine development.
Policemen and Armed Forces will continue their efforts to combat these heinous acts with support of Egyptian people, he said.
Meanwhile, the minister reviewed a summary of the latest local, regional and international developments that need plans and security measures that would maintain state's security and stability.
On this regard, Abdel Ghaffar pointed to the recent preemptive strikes that were successfully conducted against terrorists.
