
Security authorities arrested a Takfiri cell in Suez governorate that was plotting to implement terror attacks against state institutions.
The 10-member cell includes leader Adel Hussein Ahmed Mahmoud and Abdel Rahman el Hadi aka Abu Malek el Kenani who were arrested in possession of three firearms and 45 bullets.
They confessed that they were plotting to attack state institutions and monitoring security and judiciary headquarters and a number of police officers.
Investigations also unveiled that Abdel Rahman el Hadi was trained to use arms and explosives by terrorist elements in North Sinai.
All legal measures were taken.
