
Minister of Electricity and Water Affairs, Dr. Abdul Hussain bin Ali Mirza, has received President and CEO at Caspian Renewable Energy, Inc. M. Marty Youssefiani, and praised the projects carried out by the company in the field of renewable energy.
The minister was briefed about the steps the company is taking to increase participation and investment in solar energy projects in Bahrain.
The visiting CEO told the minister that the company contributed to the implementation of the first solar energy project in Bahrain in Awali, which was set up in collaboration with a number of companies, including Bapco. The 5MW project was commissioned four years ago with the installation of solar panels on lampposts and roofs of some buildings.
The two sides also discussed areas of cooperation between the company and Bahrain’s Sustainable Energy Unit. of the unit engineered Jahan Murbati and minister’s adviser Dr. Abdul Majeed Abdul Karim Habib.
