Deputy Tony Bou Khater expressed, in an interview with the Voice of Lebanon 93.3 radio sdtation, optimism over "the near completion of the new election law, and the imminent approval of the general budget."
"With all the electoral formulas that have been put forward, it is crucial to preserve the nation and its sense of coexistence," he said, calling on everyone to "make the necessary concessions so as to achieve understanding."
"The mixed law remains the most appropriate because it takes into account the interests of all categories, which is the main entrance to reform," Bou Khater assured, pointing out that the Lebanese Forces' approach to the election law is both scientific and equitable.
