Mufti hails Egyptian army's stance in face of smear media campaigns

Egypt's Mufti Shawky Allam praised on Sunday the Egyptian army's stance in the face of smear media campaigns that serve hidden agendas and seek to spread lies in a malicious way.
In a statement, Allam said the Egyptian army will remain the symbol of pride and dignity and the protector of the Arab nation in the times of adversity.
Also, the army will remain the cornerstone of the Middle East thanks to the unity and cohesion among its personnel, Allam added.
