
Najla Al Awar, Minister of Community Development, has said that National Day represents the unity of the people of the UAE, and "the solid bond between our people and our leadership", adding that it is a great opportunity to express pride in the nation's wise leaders, who, she said, have spared no effort in affirming the UAE’s pioneering and influential position on the global stage.
On the occasion of the 45th National Day, the Minister extended sincere congratulations to President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces and Their Highnesses the Supreme Council Members and Rulers of the Emirates.
She said, "The second of December marks a turning point in the history of our nation. Every year, we take this day to express our gratitude and our pride in the historic agreement that unified our country and aligned our destinies, our history, and our hopes for the future. What the UAE has achieved in the few decades since its inception have propelled the small, young country to the fore, alongside developed and influential countries."
