
The activities of the forum of Arab organizations supporting the implementation of sustainable development plan 2030 started Monday at the Arab League headquarters.
The event is organized by the Arab League in cooperation with the Arab Academy for Science, Technology & Maritime Transport and Arab Administrative Development Organization (ARADO).
Addressing the inaugural session of the forum, Arab League Secretary General Ahmed Abul Gheit spoke of the escalating disputes, violence and terror in the Arab world.
He asserted the importance of finding new ways to fund sustainable development and introducing new perspectives to empower women and youth within the framework of national development.
Abul Gheit reviewed the efforts of the AL general secretariat in the field of sustainable development
