
The Cabinet, under Prime Minister Sherif Ismail, convened on Wednesday to continue discussions on a number of political, economic, social and security issues.
During its meeting on Tuesday, the Cabinet probed a number of reports on the implementation of major national projects and securing the availability of basic commodities at low prices.
The agenda of the meeting also includes means of monitoring markets to prevent price manipulation and keep prices of basic commodities and medicine stable.
It also discusses a number of important draft laws, including a new labor law in addition to a bill on investment that aims at making progress at all levels, removing all obstacles facing investors as well as attracting local and foreign investments.
Meanwhile, the meeting follows up the pace of implementation of several projects carried out in governorates according to their timetable.
