
The renovation of houses that have been harmed by the explosion outside the national security building in Shobra el Khaima will end in two weeks maximum, said el Sayyed Moussa, the chairman of Gharb Shobra el Khaima municipality, on Monday.
Dozens of engineers and technicians from the Arab Contractors Co. are renovating the national security premises, as well as the courts complex, Nile Hospital and five schools in the area, Moussa said.
The blast also caused damage to five residential buildings, he added.
Teams are working around the clock to complete the renovation work in two weeks, Moussa said
